 Established in 1934, the Lifeboat station is part of Port Orford's Historic Trio which includes the Cape Blanco Lighthouse and Hughes House.  Historic Hughes House is located in the heart of Cape Blanco State Park. Three major parks are located in Port Orford: Cape Blanco, Humbug Mountain and Port Orford Heads, home of the Lifeboat Station. For more information on these parks please visit their link.  Our county museum displays memorabilia from the Gold Beach area, but it is the archive for all that is Curry's rich history.
